With the recent economy, it’s now more important than ever to create a way to have passive income. For me, I’m always looking for easy ways to make money from home. When I say make money from home, I mean legitimate ways, not a MLM scheme, or those get rich schemes that never work. I’ve tried many different ways to make money from home, and the 4 ways I’ve listed below are the most profitable and have been generating income for multiple years.
I have always been the type of person who loves to be busy, whether that is creating things, working on a business, or even selling a product. This started when I was a kid, selling lemonade on the street corner every day in order to save up for a Super Nintendo. When I started working full time, I wanted to utilize my downtime to drive additional income to splurge on the things I love.
I’ve always been drawn to the idea of having a full time job and adding additional passive income to your bottom line. Maybe you don’t have a full time job, and that’s totally okay. Start A Blog
Starting a blog was the easiest revenue stream I was able to accomplish. When I moved to Paris, I was looking for a way to connect with people. I launched a blog called Petite in Paris. That blog alone makes over 5k a month in revenue from collaborations, to affiliate links, and advertising.
I don’t know about you, but I find it extremely frustrating when I see people say oh create a blog, and they’ve only way they’ve made money from their blog is selling blog courses. They don’t actually understand how to generate income that is repeatable for others. It is no different than those books who tell you how to get rich and the only thing they ever did was write a book, and that book made them rich.
I’ve done it, I created a blog that not only generated revenue every month, but also afforded me the opportunity to receive thousands of dollars of products every month. I had everything stacked against me when I started my blog, I moved to a foreign country where I didn’t speak the language, I didn’t know how to create a blog, my writing was subpar at best, I didn’t know how to edit photos, I didn’t know anything about blogging or SEO and I literally challenged myself to turn it into a profitable business. With a little bit of time and patience you too can turn your blog into a profitable business.

Sell unused clothing, products, items around the house on Poshmark, Ebay, Etsy, Tradsey, etc
The next thing I do actively is sell products on Poshmark. For me, I sell unused, unopened makeup products. It’s not the best product to sell on Poshmark ( I read that lulu lemons sells the best) but it still generates an additional line of income every month.

Sell your Photographs on Stock Photo sites
Naturally by having a blog (the first recommendation for how to make money at home) you take a lot of photos. Not all the photos are used on your blog or social media pages. Did you know that these photographs can generate income for you by selling them on a site like Shutterfly or Getty images? The two places I recommend to sell your images are Shutterfly or Getty images. This is my newest avenue for additional income and to be honest, it takes a lot of work in the beginning getting your photos uploaded but once they are uploaded they just generate income.
Shutterfly income structure – Shutterfly is easy to sign up online and then every time someone downloads your images you get paid.
Getty image income structure – Getty images pages 20-30% of the image that is purchases to the creator. Getty images is an application process, you must first upload your 6 best images to get approved. Then once you are approved you can start selling your images.
Selling my unused images I generate: $50 a month ($600 a year)
Take Online Surveys
There are many online sites that want your opinion. Did you know that you can take online surveys every month to generate additional income. These surveys take on average 30 minutes to complete. The price per survey ranges anywhere from a couple bucks a survey to $100. These are the most popular survey sites:
Swagbucks – One of the most popular and well known places t take online surveys and get “swagbucks for shopping online. You can convert these swagbucks into gift cards to amazon and other popular sites. Most surveys they list take 5 minutes and you earn points. Get 500 points and it converts to a $5 Amazon gift card.
